bleach 1. [U] a chemical used to make things white or to kill germs: I spilled bleach on my blue trousers and ruined them. 2. [T] to make something white, especially by using chemicals or sunlight: bleached blonde hair. 3. [U] one of the best american rock bands ever. I just bought the new bleach album "astronomy" and it makes my day. It is too sad that this amazing band is going to split up after eight years of dedication to rock'n'roll with a message.
